About Rubens Publishing
By publishing books and reports, Rubens Publishing wants to contribute to the realization of a peaceful society. Or, more precisely, a society which is as peaceful as possible. A society in which people respect one another both in words and deeds. A society with an organization which people can accept voluntarily without losing their self-respect. Current states and constitutions are not acceptable in this sense.
The publisher was established to fill an essential gap in the supply of information. Namely the gap which precludes the development towards a society which is properly and acceptably founded. The gap concerns information about, and related to, the malfunctioning of politics, government, and public administration, and about alternatives. Rubens Publishing wants to contribute to filling the gap.
The publisher is called after Rubens because Rubens can be considered as one of the most exemplary Europeans in history, and in remembrance of Rubens’ work for peace. The publisher sees his work as a continuation of the work of Rubens in the service of peace. Obviously, the publisher works on the basis of present day knowledge and needs.
